Trust & Transparency

Know what the data can — and can't — tell you.

Stamped & Worn combines available location information to help you research an area. Conditions can change, so we're clear about what we know.

Clear data sources

Information will come from defined sources, not invented figures.

Exact vs approximate disclosure

We tell you when we know the exact address and when we don't.

No invented statistics

We show real research data — never invented figures or fake precision.

Transparent AI analysis

AI reasoning is shown, not hidden behind a single score.

Current information when available

Conditions change; we use the most recent information we can.

You remain responsible

Stamped & Worn informs your decision. You make the booking.

In detail

AI-assisted analysis

Stamped & Worn uses AI to organize and interpret location information. AI output is analysis, not fact — it should be read critically alongside the underlying data.

Data availability

Reports use live location data from connected sources. Where data is unavailable for a specific location, it is clearly labeled rather than invented.

Data sources

Reports draw on connected data sources — maps, places, imagery and reviews — and identify or cite important sources where practical.

Real vs illustrative imagery

We prioritize authentic, properly licensed photography. AI-generated imagery is labeled as an illustration and never presented as a real photograph of an exact location.

Location-data limitations

Location information can be approximate, dated, or incomplete — especially for vacation rentals before the exact address is known. We disclose what we know and what we don't.

Traveler considerations

Safety-related information is never a guarantee that an area is 'safe' or 'unsafe.' It is framed as traveler considerations, reported incidents, area conditions, official advisories and factors to consider.

No guarantees regarding safety

Stamped & Worn does not guarantee safety. Important safety claims rely on authoritative or clearly identified sources. You remain responsible for your own decisions.

Responsible AI use

AI will not make unsupported safety claims. Where an AI conclusion is uncertain, we say so rather than presenting false confidence.

Privacy

Your research and account data are kept private to you. Guest purchases are associated with your email and can be linked to an account if you create one.

Research limitations

No single source is complete. Stamped & Worn is a research aid, not a definitive verdict on a place.

Comparison Scoring Methodology

Every Stamped & Worn Location Intelligence Report saves the same standardized 0–100 categories so different locations can be compared consistently. Scores are based only on actual research data for that location — never invented.

Objective categories

Contribute to the Overall Location Score when reliable data exists: Walkability, Dining Access, Transportation Access, Things to Do, Tourist Convenience, Daily Needs / Grocery Access, and Airport Access.

Character indicators

Describe the area rather than rank it better/worse: Nightlife Access, Quiet vs Lively (0 = very quiet, 100 = very lively), and Local Character. A lively area isn't automatically better than a quiet one.

Missing data is never zero

When reliable data is unavailable, the field is stored as null and shown as "Data unavailable." A score of zero means a location genuinely scored zero — it never means missing data.

How comparisons work

A category is compared only when every selected location has valid data for it; an advantage is shown only when one location is strictly stronger. A Best Match is declared only when enough equivalent category data exists across the selected locations — otherwise a Comparison Insight is shown instead. A higher individual Overall Location Score does not automatically make a location the better match for every traveler.
